More work on the house

Our yard is huge and overwhelming, but we work on it in small stages. In addition to the fence we recently installed, we added some sod to a small patch in front of the house.              

 Here is what it looked like when we first moved in...

 And here is what it looks like now. Not perfect, but much better.

Remember our kitchen when we first moved in? Well, last year we started to remodel it and only finished one half. This year my goal is to finish it completely before school starts on August 22nd for SLCC and August 27th for Cyprus. It isn't exactly finished, but I'm excited about the progress so I wanted to post some pics.

I decided to hang thin drywall over the old wall paper and random holes in the wall. It was the simplest way to fix this ugly wall.

I had to cover the finished half of the kitchen to protect it from all the dry wall dust.

                      

The refrigerator turned out to be a very handy place to work.
